Today's UCC
The University College Community serves as the academic home of adult and nontraditional students enrolled at the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus of Rutgers, The State University-New Jersey. The UC Community is dedicated to serving the distinctive needs of nontraditional students most of whom must combine an academic career with their personal and professional lives. The UC Community facilitates access to the rich academic resources of Rutgers University and fosters a supportive learning environment to enhance the academic experience and success of nontraditional students. Students admitted to one of the undergraduate schools on the Rutgers-New Brunswick/Piscataway campus may affiliate with the University College Community if they meet eligibility requirements for classification as a nontraditional student. A Handbook for Nontraditional Students is available to help you make a smooth transition to Rutgers and achieve your educational goals. The programs and services of University College Community are designed to complement and enrich the academic education provided by the undergraduate school in which you choose to enroll. A description of the special programs, services, and information available to nontraditional students at University College Community is provided on the pages of this website. For questions or additional information, please contact Betsy Feliciano-Berrios, UCC Assistant Dean for Recruitment & Student Services at betsyfb@rci.rutgers.edu, or call the main UCC office at 732-445-4181. |
