MSA Class of 2007

Jason Goldstein

LC'02, RBS'05

Though Jason recently became a Rutgers alumnus, his service to the university began during his undergraduate days and has continued to flourish. Jason, founder of the Livingston Theatre Company, has been vice president of the Livingston Alumni Association and chair of the association's Public Relations Committee since 2003. He has taken a lead role in branding the association; he designed its current logo, produces custom marketing literature to support LAA activities, and is the key author and editor of several association newsletters. He also helped to organize the Livingston College Distinguished Alumni Awards dinners in 2004 and 2006 and created special documentary-style videos about each honoree. Jason has also been instrumental in developing outreach programs to engage young alumni as well as current students, and he works closely with each class to help promote and publicize their reunion activities. He helped plan the fifth reunion for the Class of 2002 by designing a website and other communications and organizing events. In addition to his contributions to the LAA, Jason was an alumni representative on the Livingston Student Center Governing Board from 200205 and organized the Livingston Student Center 20th Anniversary Celebration, which more than 200 alumni attended. He is also planning a 10th anniversary gala for the theatre company.
