The Phonolab has equipment for audio recording for both in the lab and in the field. When the equipment is not in use by members of the Phonolab, it may be available for other research in the Cognitive Sciences and related fields and for teaching purposes.

If you have been given access to Phonolab equipment and wish to reserve it, see the Sakai site Recording Equipment. Otherwise, contact Professor de Lacy (delacy at rutgers.edu).

Field Equipment

Field recording equipment includes portable solid-state audio recorders, still and video cameras, and associated equipment.

Lab Recording

The Phonolab contains a sound-attenuated booth with high-quality audio recording equipment. The booth can be used only after appropriate training.
