BIOGRAPHY

Mehdi Rahmati is a PhD candidate with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Rutgers University. He is a member of Cyber Physical Systems Laboratory (CPS-Lab) directed by Prof. Dario Pompili. Mehdi received his BS and MS in electrical engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, and Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran, in 2001 and 2009, respectively. Previously, he worked as a full-time faculty member at Bahar Institute of Higher Education and as a lecturer at Azad University of Tehran and Mashhad, both in Iran. For his MS thesis he worked on MIMO coding in correlated wireless channels with Prof. Vahid Tabataba Vakili.; currently he is working on underwater acoustic communications.
