I am deeply moved by your story. You state almost dispasionately
the facts of the hatred you have endured and yet, you speak so

Hi Louie! We actually met on 28 April 1993 at St. John's Church in
Washington, DC duting the March on Washington. I am currently a graduate
student in library science at Wayne State University in Detroit. (I know,
just what the world needs. Another EpiscoFag librarian!) My true,
real-life home parish is St. John's Episcopal Church, Jamaica Plain, Mass.
(The Rev'd. Anne C. Fowler, Rector), but while I'm here in scenic
Day-trwa, I am a member of the Cathedral Church of St.Paul. While there
are most certainly other gayfolk at the Cathedral, the atmosphere is much
more closeted than at good ol' St. John's JP. Oh well, such is life.
Anyway, I thought I'd let you know that I enjoy your online services quite
a bit. I'm especially glad for your rundown of the candidates for
Presiding Bishop. It's good to know that we have a 50/50 chance of

I finally have gotten to your famed home pages. Although I saw you at the
Beyond Inclusion conference I didn't have a chance to introduce myself. I
want to particularly encourage you in your letter to both Archbishop Carey
and Bishop Iker. I think the Archbishop wants to move beyond his own
fears, but has not yet been able to do so. As we pray for the Spirit

I am looking for an opportunity to do a month's exchange with a priest of
the ECUSA. My parish is the Parish of St Columba, Portadown, Northern
Ireland. We have approx 2500 souls and are situated in the middle of a
very large working class housing estat e, and therefore we are well
acquainted with inner urban problems as well as the challenges of the
Northern Irish situation. Portadown is rather notorious in Northern
Ireland as a centre of Protestant extremism, which makes it all the more
challenging to promote the Anglican via media. If you know of anyone who
