The Rainbow Graduation Celebration honors the achievements of Rutgers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer identified undergraduate and graduate students and acknowledge the challenges and triumphs experienced in their careers here at Rutgers University. Students are honored for continuing Rutgers 39th year tradition of pride and activism. The Celebration is meant to complement the traditional graduation ceremony.

This year's Rainbow Graduation was held on Tuesday, May 6th, 2008, at 5:00 p.m., at the Rutgers Club. We would like congratulate Mr. Klint Jaramillo, recipient of the 2008 Lionel Cuffie Award for Activism and Excellence, and Mr. Sean Tien, recipient of the 2008 Taskforce for LGBT Communities Certificate of Appreciation. We would also like to congratulate the 2008 graduates and good luck in all your future endeavors.
