| You did not install Java Virtual Machine on your system. Do NOT install the plugin requested by either IE or Firefox, click cancel and close the page. To install Java,
click Java Standard Edition
from the website, look for Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 or newer. Follow Sun's onsite
instructions to install Java Runtime Environment, try running the Handbook after the installation. |

| Click and save the Java Policy File
to the user.home\.java.policy. Where user.home refers to
the value of the system property named "user.home", which specifies the user's home
directory. For example, if the user logged on as John, save the file into
C:\Documents and Settings\John\.java.policy Restart the computer so Windows can load the new security settings. Note that the file has two periods, one before and after 'java'. |

| The e-Handbook does not require any form of installation since it is run in the Java Virtual Machine.
Simply Click and save the e-Handbook into your computer, and unzip the entire
program to any location desirable. |

| Locate the directory where you unzipped the e-Handbook, look for the file 'index.html' within
the 'gui' directory. Run the html file with your favorite browser. |

| Internet Explorer simply tries to protect every user from harmful scripts by blocking them. Click the yellow bar
and select "Allow Blocked Content...," when the security warning pops up, click yes to start the Handbook. |
