My current interest is in the development of hypothetico-deductive theories in population biology, particularly concerned with the evolution of clutch size, mating systems (monogamy, polygyny, polyandry, and polygyny-polyandry), sexual dimorphism, and intra- and interspecific territorial behavior. Other areas of interest are predator/prey interactions and interspecific competition. Recently I have been modeling the rates of change of alternative alleles in populations with complex structure (different survivorship and age of first breeding of males and females with different genotypes).
