Chinese Crafts and Songs for Kids

Place: Town Center Elementary School, Plainsboro
Time, date & duration: 3:30-4:30 pm, Mondays, 6 October-1 December 2008. Please Register through Community Education of West Windsor-Plainsboro School District

Program description:
This program introduces students to Chinese language and culture through Chinese crafts, songs and rhymes.  Students will learn to make crafts such as Chinese lantern, Beijing Opera mask, paper-cut and origami.  Although English will be the primary instructional language, some Chinese expressions and words especially related to the class activities will be frequently used and introduced.
